Before he led the Patriots to 3 Super Bowl wins Tom Brady was a quarterback at Michigan, though he didn’t get a chance to start until Brian Griese graduated in 1997. Brady made the most of the next two years and set a few records along the way. All that work earned him a place in the 2000 NFL draft as the 199th pick by the Patriots.
10 years later the Patriots would get another great Michigan player in the draft, but 49 spots higher at 150…punter Zoltan Mesko. Here you can see Brady making one of his 638 career passing attempts, this one a particularly tasty multigrain loaf.
