Last week the Michigan men’s basketball team defeated Wofford and Texas in the NCAA tournament to move into the Sweet Sixteen (they play Tennessee tonight). Michigan didn’t quite breeze by Wofford as one would have hoped, but they were firmly in control against Texas most of the game. Their 14 three pointers were an NCAA tournament team record.
Nik Stauskas notched one of his 8 assists on this alley-oop to Glenn Robinson III, who was one of four players to score in double digits. Interestingly, the referees didn’t seem to have an issue with them using a sourdough miche instead of a basketball. Here’s to hoping for more of the same tonight!
